In this Pregnancy Miracle book review, I’m going to both shock and delight you …
And here’s a shocking statistic you need to know right away: US couples spend nearly $2billion a year on fertility treatments, seeking their own pregnancy miracle, and yet half of them still fail to become proud parents.
So I was excited to discover Lisa Olson’s book, Pregnancy Miracle, based on her own personal experience of first being told she was ‘infertile’ and then giving birth to not one – but TWO healthy children – using her own holistic approach. A true ‘pregnancy miracle’ that changed not only Lisa’s life, but the lives of couples all over the world.
And now the Pregnancy Miracle program is helping more couples get pregnant fast, all the time – often after they have undergone a whole range of tests and procedures – and proving their doctors dead wrong!
Hi, I’m Paul Hooper-Kelly, the Food Physician. I’m also the man the medical profession and the big pharmaceutical companies love to hate because I’ve helped many folks avoid the trauma and cost of surgical procedures and drug, that might have harmful side effects, by researching and writing about alternative, gentler ways of healing using the awesome power of certain foods.
And recently I met someone else who probably also has effigies of herself, bristling with pins, on the shelves of many a medical establishment. Her name is Lisa Olson and – probably like you have – she has wasted many frustrating years trying to get pregnant. In fact, Lisa had gone through the medical mill and tried just about every procedure and test that the medical profession could devise. Yet still she was unable to conceive.
Then, at the wrong side of 40, her doctor told her she was infertile and washed his hand of her. Does that sound familiar?
But Lisa is a tough cookie.
And if you’ve also experienced that same cruel put-down than you’ll be delighted to hear that, after an intensive study of the subject, Lisa was able to get pregnant – not once – but twice! The first time at aged 43. What’s more they were both healthy children. That’s when the perfect title for the book – Pregnancy Miracle – sprang to mind.
So, if Lisa can do it after being pronounced infertile – and when the chances of getting pregnant at 40 are supposed to be as slim as a snowball in hell – then there is every chance this is exactly the sort of pregnancy miracle you’ve been looking for, too.
And Lisa’s experience was no fluke, because since then she has gone on to help many other good folks create their own pregnancy miracle. All of them had been told they can’t get pregnant – yet some did … within just a few weeks – despite all of them experiencing difficulty getting pregnant.
What’s more, many of her success stories are ladies who are the wrong side of forty. And that’s the most comforting aspect of Lisa’s program, because – by the time you’ve followed all the advice, taken all the tests and suffered all the procedures, time has almost certainly marched on and your biological clock will be running down fast. But there’s no need to worry about that with Lisa’s program.
So, once I knew of Lisa’s first hand experience of the subject (which I can never hope to emulate), I decided not to write my own book, but spread the word about Lisa’s Pregnancy Miracle program instead.
You see, I’ve bought the book and have gone through it for you. …
And here’s what you find in the Pregnancy Miracle book:
So what is the objective of Lisa’s Pregnancy Miracle book?
Let me quote directly from page 40 of the Pregnancy Miracle …
“The goal of this book is to help those who are suffering from all types of infertility to find news ways to treat their problem in order to finally conceive and give birth to the child they dream of.”
Figuring the most fertile days to get pregnant:
And then she get’s right to it with a section entitled: “Knowing when you are most ready to make a baby.” This isn’t just bland advice about how to calculate which day you ‘might’ be most fertile, but 14 info-packed pages (including some illuminating diagrams) that tell you precisely how to figure out your most fertile days to get pregnant and thus are most likely to get pregnant.
Little wonder, with details such as this, that Beth Carrigan of Melbourne, Australia reports her own personal pregnancy miracle, when she got pregnant (at age 37) within five weeks of getting the book – after wasting seven years and thousands of dollars and useless fertility treatments.
Can I get pregnant at 46:
Emma Yager of Berlin, Germany did. And here’s what she says …
Nor is that much of a fluke, because Lisa, herself got pregnant for the first time at 43 and again, later.
This book covers every conceivable holistic method to increase your chances of getting pregnant. What’s more, it will also allow you to discuss your situation on more or less equal footing with your physician. Everything you might need is covered in detail, from the names of all the hormones that rule your body, what they do and how much is good or bad, to really basic information like that act of lovemaking and the so obvious mistake more than half of couples make (page 77).
As Lisa points out, couples in the USA spend a couple of billion dollars every year trying to get pregnant, yet only half succeed. You would think with all that medical knowledge the success rate would be nearly 100%. Yet, it’s nearer 50%. So, because it’s clear Western medicine doesn’t know everything there is to know about fertility and how to get pregnant.
And if you thinks that a little flaky, you aren’t alone. Because Lauren Ross of Georgia, USA says: “I never believed in anything alternative to western medicine and thought all the other stuff like Chinese medicine was a hoax. But I was soon glad to be wrong”. She certainly was glad, because Lisa’s approach she got pregnant at 38, despite being told she only had a 4% of conceiving and only a 2% change of going the full term. Here’s a photo of her and her beautiful new baby …
That’s because her researches on this aspect have proved to be the golden key that worked for many of her previously ‘infertile’ clients.
Clients such as these …
Pregnancy Miracle Success Story:
Ands once you have a good understanding of all the issues involved, Lisa introduces her five step plan to get you the baby of your dreams.
Remember that old saying: “Perfect preparation prevents pathetic performance”? You do? Good, because Lisa’s very sensible first step is to show you how to prepare to get pregnant.
Ad this largely consists of what to avoid – including things you might never dream have a negative effect on your fertility, such as aromatherapy.
Then Lisa goes on to give you her eight commandments. But fear not: none of them are particularly onerous and most, in fact, are sound advice that will drastically improve your energy and zest for life. Just as well, because once that baby is born, you’ll need all the energy you can summon!
The next step gets my full Food Physician endorsement, because Lisa covers foods to eat to get pregnant.
And this is sound, down to earth nutritional advice for anyone, so don’t think you need dish up different foods for your partner, because they need to be fighting fit to play their part in this conception, too.
And talking about male fertility, Lisa goes into great detail about some highly beneficial herbs you and your partner can take. For example, she recommends your partner eats some pumpkin seeds. These are a powerhouse of zinc and plays an important role in male fertility. In fact, zinc is thought to be the reason who Casanova was such a prolific lover (although he got his zinc ration from the more exotic oyster).
The connection between low sperm count and getting pregnant:
And, because Lisa’s is obviously determined to leave no stone unturned in her quest to help you get pregnant fast, she also devotes a section of her book to the fertility of your partner.
So, if your partner has been shown to have a reduced sperm count, don’t worry, because Lisa has this covered too. Simply follow her four proven steps to increase low testosterone, low sperm count and motility.
And – once again – she gets my full approval for this approach, which uses wholesome tasty food in preference to nutritionally empty, highly adulterated junk food.
Immune system problems and pregnancy:
Nearly 20% of infertility problems can be traced back to the immune system, so Lisa explains all this and arms you with what you need to get the best from your doctor.
Finally, Lisa deals with what will probably, by now, be a looming problem for you. Because if you’ve wasted much time and treasure vainly trying all the tests and procedures the medical profession offer, then chances are your biological clock is ticking louder and louder. Well, remember that was a major problem for Lisa, too. So you can be sure you will be getting the very best advice from someone who has been there, too.
And, just how effective is Lisa’s take on that can be amply demonstrated by the cases of Emma Yager and Lauren Ross – both of whom were aged over 40 – as was Lisa at the time she conceived for the first time.
Infection and getting pregnant:
Around 30% of infertility cases are due to infections. So Lisa details the possible infections you might not even be aware you are suffering from. Nor are these sexually transmitted diseases, but regular conditions many other folks have without knowing it.
Finally, Lisa covers that most dreaded diagnosis of all: ‘unexplained infertility’. This can strike terror into the hearts of anyone, because it implies there is no hope. After all, if the cause isn’t known, the problem cannot be fixed. But Lisa turns this on its head and reassuringly points out that it really means there is no reason why you can’t get pregnant. Then she points out that, as all the high technology of Western medicine has let you down, the best course now is to look at traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
